A favourite for kids, this drink is simple to make and uses fresh ingredients making it a better alternative to those store bought icecreams.

Water

Pandan Leaves
, tied into a knot

teaspoon
Yellow Food Colouring
Ice Cubes
, as desired

Sugar
400
grams
Pineapple
, cut into small pieces
1/2
teaspoon
Vanilla Essence
, (optional)

Directions

Place water, sugar and pandan leaves in a heavy saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Add pineapple slices and food colouring.
Remove from heat. Leave to cool for a few minutes before adding vanilla essence.
Stir and mix well.
Serve warm or chilled with ice cubes.
