3 Tips For Dieting With Dawn Yang

Ever wondered how famous blogger, artiste and model Dawn Yang stays so slim? It is all about nutrition. Don't cut back on taste and portion-size but rather on sugar, starchy foods and bad trans-fats, she says.

Follow Dawn's tips and get healthy, glowing skin and lose those extra kilos without starving.

1. Include Green Juices Into Your Diet

Combat cravings with green cold pressed juices! They are high in nutrients and minerals so drinking them before a meal will help you feel full and eat less.

Have you ever made a green smoothie? It's great for breakfast and has much less calories than a Kaya toast and is so much more nutritious.

2. Eat Slowly

Take your time to savour your food. Did you know that it takes up to 20 minutes for your brain to process that you are full? So chowing down on that burger, even if it's a healthy one, can lead to overeating and therefore weight gain.

 3. Quit Sugar

Eliminating sugar is one of the best things you can do for your body. Try going cold turkey in the beginning and even cut out natural sugars such as juices and sweet fruits. Berries are low in sugar and high in essential vitamins, so you can eat those if cravings hit you. It takes 2 months to stop your body from wanting it's sugar fix. But once you are over it, you'll feel great and a mango will taste as sweet as chocolate to you.

If you are craving ice-cream so bad, you are about to give in, opt for a healthier version like these frozen yoghurt popsicles.

Following these easy tips will have you lose weight, increase your energy levels and will help your overall state of health. Don't see these as temporary changes but rather as ideas on how to improve your health and well-being for your future.
